From first sketch to factory floor, ONMOTIO provides every discipline needed to take a physical product from concept to mass production. Each service can be engaged independently or as part of a fully integrated programme.

[ HOW THEY FIT TOGETHER ]

One path, five phases.

Most projects move through the same phases, each with a clear deliverable and a decision point before the next. You can start at any of them: a finished design that needs engineering, or a prototype that needs to become manufacturable.

1. 01

   Strategy and concept

   A written brief first: who the product is for, what it must do, what it may cost. Then concept design explores the form and the architecture, and the brand if the product needs one.

2. 02

   Product development

   The chosen concept becomes a preliminary design: mechanical architecture, electronics, materials, and a first release of drawings the prototype will be built from.

3. 03

   Prototyping

   Each build is scoped against what it must teach: looks, fit, function or field use. Revisions follow the prototype until the product works as intended.

4. 04

   Detail design and DFM

   Before tooling we check whether the prototype can go to the factory as it is. It usually needs optimising for manufacturing: draft, wall thickness, tolerances, part count, cost.

5. 05

   Launch and small series

   Renders and animations for the campaign or the store, support through the first production run, and certification support when the product needs it.
